Huon Valley Equestrian is a family owned business operating in the picturesque Huon Valley.

Hi! We are Anita and Phoebe Haskin, the co-founders of Huon Valley Equestrian.

After owning horses and operating an agistment property in Huon Valley for the past 15 years, we have seen first hand how difficult it is to purchase high end, good quality tack and rider apparel in Southern Tasmania. With almost no facilities to try items on before you purchase.

We own two Ex-racers both measuring at 17hh, with completely different sizing in Saddles, Bridles and Girths, we found that ordering online was taking a huge gamble on hoping the items fit, and when they didn’t the amount of effort involved in organising returns was immense.

We as Huon Valley Equestrian are here to solve this problem for you! Our returns policy is simple, if it doesn’t fit, we can collect the item and directly replace it with a different size or you AND YOUR HORSE can visit us and try on as many items as you like, to ensure you and your horse have the best fit possible.

We are looking to bridge the gap between horse people of Tasmania with your favourite brands from all over Australia and the globe!

  • International Deliveries: HVE will use DHL, a tracking number will be sent to the client directly as soon as it has been collected by DHL.

    Domestic Deliveries: Clients will be issued with a tracking number once Shipping company has received the item. Domestic Shipping wait times are usually within 7 business days, Express shipping is available at customers expense.

    Local Deliveries: Clients will not be issued a tracking number, as most deliveries will be made on the same or following day.

  • All items are to be returned to the HVE Property within 30 days of purchase. Items must be in resalable conditions, with all tags and pricing left on them. Customer must be able to provide proof and date of purchase. We recommend customers try items on prior to making a purchase and allow us to fit the item to your horse is required.

    All shipping costs for returns are to be incurred by the customers.

  • Vouchers - All vouchers are to only be used on items that are currently in stock. All ‘PRE-ORDER’ items are excluded. Please contact us for any specific products.
